Selec DTC324A-2 is an industrial digital temperature controller that serves as the central unit for heating and cooling systems. It measures temperature through a sensor and controls a heater or fan to maintain the desired temperature precisely.
Product Features:
- Inputs: It reads different temperature sensors, like Thermocouples (J, K, T, R, S) or RTD/PT100 sensors.
- Control Modes: It has two smart modes to manage temperature:
- ON-OFF Control: The system runs until it hits the target, then turns completely off until it cools down.
- PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative): An advanced mode that prevents temperature overshooting by gradually reducing power as the target approaches. It also features "Auto-tune," which automatically calculates the best settings for your system.
- Displays & Set Points: It has an easy-to-read LED display with dual set points. This means you can set a target temperature and a separate alarm temperature.
- Outputs: It uses either a relay or an SSR (Solid State Relay) drive to safely turn heavy machinery on and off. It also includes an auxiliary output for alarms.
